Reptiles this care guide covers

Goldstripe geckos (Woodworthia chrysosiretica) are a small, fast-moving gecko species from the Taranaki area, Kapiti Island and Mana Island.

Compared with other species of Woodworthia geckos, they are more active during the day and can often be seen basking in the sun or stalking insects. They are relatively easy to care for in captivity although care needs to be taken to make sure enclosures are escape-proof (with close-fitting doors) and when servicing enclosures to make sure they don't jump out.

This species can be held on second-level permits (Insurance population species).
